IN SEARCH OF HIS OWN VOICE EXPERIMENTING WITH DIFFRERENT TECHNIQUES

In the begining of the XXth century, Pablo Picasso and George Braques were among the first artists to experiment with Cubism. This trend, proposed the use of only geometrical shapes and traces to créate realist looking images. It became immensley popular, as it showed once more, that the human imagination had indeed no limits.

During the beginning of the 70’s, Quessada, who had just graduated from “La Esmeralda” with very few Works under his belt, began an insatiable search for his own voice and style inside the art world. During this period, Quessadas’ Works refelct just that, presenting an incredible array of styles in his creations.  From classical portraits to futuristic sculptures and semi-figurative imagery, to finally, by the end of the decade, settle on his own signature style.
